SEASCAPE TOWER
DESCRIPTION
The Seascape tower is an impressive 187m high with 52 floors, and 5 levels of basement. The unique design utilised an external structural mega frame to enable each apartment to have clear unobstructed views. TECHNIQUE
D-wall, Bearing piles, Anchors
Through our early contractor involvement, we were able to advise and direct the client to a foundation solution that met all of these challenging demands. The solution involved the installation of a perimeter Diaphragm wall and a number of large bearing piles, some of which included plunge columns to facilitate the tower cranes. The retaining wall utilised a mix of internal props and temporary anchors to facilitate the bottom up construction method nominated by the client.
